Romain Schneider

Romain Schneider has a diverse work experience spanning from 2004 to the present. Romain is currently the CEO & Chairman of the Board at SPECTARIUM since December 2019. Prior to this, they founded and served as the Director of JANEIOUS, a community-funded mobile games company, starting from December 2015.

In terms of freelance work, Romain has been a Freelance Consultant and Mentor since September 2004. Their areas of expertise include strategy and business development consulting, with industry specializations in Financial Services, Energy, and Gaming. Romain has worked on various projects such as integrating games into the marketing and offering of a digital bank, mentoring a battery startup, and providing consulting services to game development companies. Additionally, they have supported a German applied research startup in fundraising and managing a strategy team.

Romain also has experience working at consulting firms. Romain worked as an Associate Partner at OC&C Strategy Consultants in 2016 and as a Senior Project Manager at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants from October 2005 to May 2011. Prior to that, they were a Consultant at Capgemini Austria from February 2004 to September 2005.

In the banking industry, Romain held positions at a leading bank in Eastern Europe from 2011 to 2015. Romain was the Vice President and Head of Corporate Business Support, responsible for building the Chief Data Officer function and managing key strategy projects. Romain also served as the Head of Strategy Development at the same bank from May 2011 to October 2013.

Romain Schneider pursued their higher education starting in 1999 at the University of Bristol, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Philosophy and Economics in 2002. Following this, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2002 to 2003, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Economics and Philosophy.
