Tyler Whitney

Tyler Whitney is a co-founder and CFO at Spectra Plasmonics, where efforts are focused on combating the opioid crisis through the development of drug checking technology for harm reduction since July 2017. Prior experience includes roles as an intern at the Dunin-Deshpande Queen's Innovation Centre, an executive at SparQ Studios, and a projects assistant at The Community Foundation for Kingston & Area. Tyler also served as the finance director for the Queen's chapter of Global China Connection and worked as a summer analyst at Jet Star Capital Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and International Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Queen's University, alongside participation in an international academic exchange program at NTU.
