Emil Sebastian Rømer is an experienced software engineer with a robust background in full-stack development and software design. Currently employed at Spectral since February 2018, Rømer focuses on developing a real-time data analytics platform for optimizing utilities consumption across building portfolios. Prior experience includes software engineering at Ramboll, where Rømer designed web-based simulation software for facilities management, and an internship researching simulation models for building decay. Rømer's academic qualifications include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Syddansk Universitet. Additional roles include student programming at MMII and IT support at Roskilde Festival, as well as a student worker position at Powel AS, contributing to the development of systems for nationwide utilities infrastructure.
