Joost Decupere

Joost Decupere currently serves as the VP of Engineering at Spectricity since October 2021. Prior to this role, Joost held the position of R&D Manager for the ISOC group at imec from February to September 2021. Joost's experience includes serving as Sr. Director of Engineering for the BL CIS division at ams AG and as Sr. Program Manager and Design Center Manager for Image Sensors at ON Semiconductor from March 2011 to March 2019. Earlier roles include Design Center Manager at Cypress Semiconductor and various design positions at Sipex Corporation, culminating in the role of Director of Design. Joost earned a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from KU Leuven from 1991 to 1996, following a high school education focused on Mathematics at Koninklijk Atheneum Keerbergen from 1985 to 1991.
