Cornelia Parkin

Cornelia Parkin has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Cornelia currently works as the Group Chief Accountant at Spectris plc since March 2023. Before that, they served as the Group Financial Controller at Kernel Global from March 2022 to February 2023. Cornelia also worked at Openreach as the Senior Manager - Central Finance Transformation from January 2019 to February 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at Informa, including Group Finance Manager, Group Financial Accounting Manager, and Group Financial Accountant. Cornelia began their career at EY, where they worked as an Assistant Manager, Executive, Senior, and Supervisor in various audit and assurance roles.

Cornelia Parkin earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Stellenbosch University/Universiteit Stellenbosch. Cornelia pursued further studies at Stellenbosch University and obtained an Honours Degree in Accounting in the year 2001. In 2005, they obtained the Chartered Accountant certification from SAICA CA(SA).
