Venkatesh Pitchai

Venkatesh Pitchai has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Venkatesh currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Spectro Cloud, starting in March 2023. Prior to joining Spectro Cloud, Venkatesh worked at Cisco for four years, from March 2018 to March 2023. During this time, they held the roles of Software Engineering Technical Leader and Software QA Engineer. Before Cisco, they worked at HCL America, Inc as a Sr. Technical Lead from April 2015 to March 2018. Their career in the software engineering field started at HCL Technologies in April 2006, where they served as a Technical Lead for nine years, until April 2015.

Venkatesh Pitchai completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In terms of certifications, they obtained the CCNA Routing and Switching certification from Cisco in September 2006, followed by the CCNP Cisco Certified Network Professional certification in December 2007. Venkatesh further acquired the CCIE® Routing & Switching Written 350-001 CCIE Exam v4.0 certification from Cisco in October 2013. More recently, in 2022, they attained the Certified Kubernetes Administrator and Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certifications from The Linux Foundation in November and May, respectively.
