Spiros Divanis has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Spiros worked as a Research and Development Engineer at Spectro Inlets starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from September 2020 to May 2021. Spiros also served as a Marie Curie PhD fellow at the same university, focusing on electrocatalysis and the design of catalysts for water electrolysis and hydrogen fuel production from September 2017 to September 2020. Spiros had external PhD time at De Nora from December 2019 to February 2020 and at J. Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry CAS from March 2019 to June 2019. Spiros Divanis holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, completed in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Theoretical Physical Chemistry from the University of Ioannina. Spiros also holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Ioannina. In addition to their formal education, Spiros Divanis participated in various summer schools, including one at DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 2018, another at the Institute of Technology and Research in Heraklion, Crete, Greece in 2014, a summer school at the Centre for Plasma Physics and Laser TEI of Crete in Rethymnon, Crete, Greece in 2013, and a summer school at the University of Heraklion, Physics Department, Crete, Greece in 2012.
