Alex Palanker

Alex Palanker has a diverse work experience in the field of network engineering and software engineering.

From 2022 to present, Alex has been working as a Network Engineer at Spectrotel.

Prior to that, from 2018 to 2022, Alex worked at CommScope as a Senior Systems Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for the design, implementation, and operational support of the company's Managed Router products. Alex also provided senior-level support for analysis, design, testing, and operation of software-defined and hardware Managed Router services. Alex actively participated in troubleshooting escalations with customers and deployment teams for support issues and activations.

From 2017 to 2018, Alex worked as a Network Engineer (Contract) at Comcast, focusing on the implementation and turn-up of the Comcast NextGen residential network. Alex provided configurations and technical leadership for IP router network technologies and overall network communication.

From 2005 to 2016, Alex worked at Comcast as a Network Engineer. In this role, they built network infrastructure from scratch, including planning, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting. Alex also analyzed traffic flows to determine optimum Regional Area Networks design.

From 2003 to 2005, Alex worked as a Network Engineer (Contract) at IntelliMark, where they conducted auditing of network and voice assets in Bank of America branches, data centers, and call centers. Alex also identified and audited various networking hardware and obtained configuration information from Cisco routers and switches.

In 2001, Alex worked at Verizon as a Software Engineer. Their responsibilities included performance testing of the Sales Service Negotiation System and development of test scripts for various testing teams.

Alex Palanker completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Temple University from 1997 to 2001. They then pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Internetworking from Dalhousie University from 2002 to 2003. In terms of additional certifications, Alex obtained several certifications from Juniper Networks. In August 2019, they acquired the Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Automation and DevOps (JNCIA-DevOps) and Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Cloud (JNCIA-Cloud) certifications. In June 2022, they obtained the Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Junos (JNCIA-Junos) certification. Additionally, in August 2019, they received the Juniper Networks Certified Design Associate (JNCDA) certification.
