George Anderson

George Anderson has over 25 years of experience in software engineering and management. At Spectrum Controls from 2005 to 2024, George served as SW Engineering Manager, successfully building a strong team of software engineers focused on embedded firmware for PLC systems, while improving software development practices for better quality and delivery. Prior to that, George was Group Manager at Data I/O from 1998 to 2004, overseeing a diverse team of 21 embedded software and hardware engineers across multiple countries. Additionally, as Project/Program Manager at Data I/O, George developed the FlashCore programmer, which became an industry leader in speed and size for Flash memory programming. George holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Seattle University, obtained between 1981 and 1984.
