J Daren Black has extensive experience in software application and embedded firmware development, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Spectrum Controls since February 2012, where contributions support industry-leading industrial automation and control solutions. Prior roles include Electronics Design Engineer at KE2 Therm Solutions, where a focus on energy-efficient refrigeration and AC solutions was paramount, and various positions as an Embedded Firmware Developer at companies such as Lexmark International and Analysts International, contributing to network services and firmware design for embedded Linux systems. J Daren Black holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Victoria and a Diploma in Embedded Design from Camosun College.
