Karen Immendorf

Karen Immendorf's work experience includes a role as a Senior Project Manager at Spectrum Effect since 2023, where they lead customer projects and collaborates with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project completion. Karen also has experience as a Project Manager at Spectrum Effect since 2020, where they monitor project progress, sets deadlines, and serves as the main point of contact for customers. Prior to that, Karen worked as a Research Assistant at Seattle Children's from 2018 to 2020, where they contributed to research projects focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorders and neural activity. Karen also served as a Business Team Leader at UW iGEM - Center for Synthetic Biology in 2019, where they engaged with stakeholders and obtained product feedback. Lastly, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Institute for Protein Design, University of Washington from 2017 to 2018, focusing on ultrahigh-throughput screening of synthetic antibodies.

Karen Immendorf earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Washington. Karen attended the university from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Business Management from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business in June 2022.
