Spectrum Engineers
Josh MacAvoy has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Josh started their career as a Kitchen Manager at Aramark / Pamunkey Regional Jail in 2005. Josh then worked as a Team Lead at Capital One from 2006 to 2007. After that, they joined The RED Force Fire & Security as an Operations Manager from 2007 to 2013. Josh then became the General Manager at Taylor Brothers, Inc. where they led their Idaho and Utah branches and implemented the Bare Metal Standard franchise service. In 2016, they joined USHE - Utah Society for Healthcare Engineering as a Board Member focusing on membership. In 2018, they transitioned to Spectrum Engineers as part of their Business Strategy, Marketing & Communications team. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Director of Special Events at SMPS Utah.
Josh MacAvoy obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bob Jones University between 2002 and 2005. Following this, they pursued further education at Heart of America in Kansas City, Missouri, where they completed a Master of Arts degree between 2007 and 2009.
