Matt Haverkamp, P.E. has a diverse range of work experience. Matt started their career as a Soldier in the US Army from 2002 to 2008. Following that, they worked as a Superintendent/Engineer at Kiewit, where they supervised a $250 million 50 mile double circuit transmission line project. At Precision Systems Engineering, they served as a Lead Project Electrical Engineer, designing entire electrical systems for clients. Matt then worked as an Estimator at Kiewit, Precision Systems Engineering, and Edison Power Constructors, estimating and researching projects of various sizes. As a Project Manager at Edison Power Constructors, Matt managed a new $10 million 12kV Ring Bus and Electrical Distribution system project. Matt also has experience as a Project Manager at JLL, where they worked on various projects. Currently, they hold the position of Project Electrical Engineer at Spectrum Engineers.
Matt Haverkamp, P.E. began their education in 2002 and completed it in 2008 at Iowa State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Construction Engineering. In February 2017, Matt obtained the Professional Engineer certification from the State of Utah. Additionally, they have a certification in Fundamentals of Engineering from the State of Utah, though the details regarding the date of obtaining this certification are not available.
