Valerie Jacinto

Valerie Jacinto, PMP, has extensive experience in project management, specifically in the field of product development. Valerie is currently employed at Spectrum Lighting, Inc. as a Project Manager for Product Development. In this role, Valerie is responsible for overseeing all aspects of new product development projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Valerie manages the scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, and outside vendors, and regularly prepares reports for upper management on project status.

Before joining Spectrum Lighting, Inc., Valerie worked at Signify from 2009 to 2019. There, they served as a Research & Development Integral Project Manager - I2M, leading multidisciplinary I2M project teams. Valerie'sresponsibilities included delivering results to agreed targets, preparing and executing comprehensive project plans, and managing the business case to maximize value for the business.

From 2001 to 2009, Valerie was employed at Lightolier as an Engineering Project Manager - Lytecaster Strategic Business Unit. In this role, they managed New Product Development projects within scope, quality, time, and budget constraints. Valerie also collaborated with a team to design and produce products consistent with project and business objectives, while assisting the SBU Director in managing people, work, and resources.

Valerie Jacinto, PMP, holds a Certificate of Achievement in Paralegal Studies from Bristol Community College, which they obtained from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Fisher College from 2001 to 2003. Valerie also earned an Associate of Science degree in Paralegal from Fisher College from 1990 to 1992. Valerie's high school education was completed at Dartmouth High School, where they took business courses and obtained their High School Diploma. In addition to their academic qualifications, Valerie obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2002.
