Jay Printzlau

Jay Printzlau has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Jay is currently the Director of Human Resource Development at Spectrum Marketing Companies since June 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of General Counsel at Surge Resources LLC for over two decades, from June 1999 to May 2021.

In addition to their legal career, Jay also has a passion for coaching. Jay served as the Former Head Coach at Friends of Concord Crew from August 2005 to June 2018, and as the Former Rowing Coach at The Derryfield School from September 1997 to May 2005.

Before embarking on their coaching journey, Jay worked as an Attorney at Weston & Printzlau, PC from June 1983 to June 1999.

Their early career included roles as a Graduate Assistant Rowing Coach at Syracuse University from August 1978 to June 1981, and as the Freshman Lightweight Rowing Coach at Yale University from August 1976 to May 1978.

Jay Printzlau obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Syracuse University College of Law, where they studied from 1978 to 1981. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History at Yale University from 1972 to 1976.
