M. Scott Olson

M. Scott Olson, JD-MBA, has a diverse range of work experience. M. Scott has served as a Vice President at Spectrum, where they led programming financial operations and strategy for content acquisition. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Finance Director at Spectrum, overseeing deal negotiations and strategic initiatives.

Olson also has experience in the software industry, having founded Geexpert Software, LLC, and developed custom software and data processing solutions for business clients.

In addition, Olson has held various roles at Dish Network, including Finance Manager and Senior Financial Analyst, where they led financial analysis and negotiations for content acquisition and distribution.

M. Scott also has experience in teaching, working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has provided legal counsel to entrepreneurs and start-ups as a Student Attorney at the University of Wisconsin Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic.

Furthermore, Olson has experience in business operations and customer service, having served as a Senior Executive Guest Relations Supervisor at GSI Commerce and as the Founder of Chaos Gaming Center.

M. Scott Olson, JD-MBA, obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2005. M. Scott then completed an Associate of Arts & Sciences degree in General Education from the University of Wisconsin-Barron County in 2001. In 2012, they earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School, followed by a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Corporate Finance and Investment Banking from the Wisconsin School of Business in 2014. M. Scott also holds a Wisconsin Bar Member certification from the State Bar of Wisconsin. In 2022, they completed the SCTE / Tuck Executive Leadership program at Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth.
