Antonio Carlos Ortiz

Antonio Carlos Ortiz has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Antonio Carlos co-founded and served as the CEO of Vertu Technologies starting in November 2019. Prior to that, they co-founded and held the role of CEO at Spectrum One IT Solutions starting in October 2015. At Spectrum One IT Solutions, they provided quality solutions to complex business problems, handling the full life cycle of software development.

Before their entrepreneurial pursuits, Ortiz worked as a Software Engineer at Silicon Valley Insight from March 2015 to October 2015. Antonio Carlos also had previous experience at Petron Corporation, where they held various roles including Accounts Manager - Industrial Trade, Accounts Manager - Reseller Trade, Site Identification Assistant - Network Expansion Group, and Management Trainee. During their time at Petron, they effectively managed key accounts and service stations, identified potential sites for new service stations, and gained valuable experience in multiple aspects of the business.

Antonio Carlos Ortiz received their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of the Philippines. Antonio Carlos attended the university from 2007 to 2012, focusing their studies on Operations Research. Before attending university, Antonio attended the Philippine Science High School Diliman from 2002 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Antonio obtained certifications in various fields. In October 2013, they became a Certified Pollution Control Officer through the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources. Furthermore, in August 2012, they completed the Dealer Management Course offered by Petron Corporation.
