Laurie Wright

Laurie Wright is an experienced professional in development and sales, currently serving as the Associate Director of Development and Alumni Relations for the School of Social Work at The University of Alabama since January 2019. Laurie also holds the position of Associate Director of Development for Social Work & Community Health Sciences and previously was the Director of Development for the College of Communication and Information Sciences. Additionally, Laurie has been with Spectrum Reach since May 2001, focusing on business development and sales by managing marketing campaigns and client budgets. Earlier in the career, Laurie worked as an Account Executive at Radio South from May 2000 to May 2001, overseeing media placements and client relations. Laurie earned a degree in Public Relations with a minor in Business from The University of Alabama between 1994 and 1998.
