Earl Colliander has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Earl began their career at the Border Institute of Technology in 2000, where they served as the Department Chair. In this role, they managed a team of teachers, researched and implemented new technologies, and taught advanced routing to students.
In 2006, Earl joined Ariel Technologies as the Company Technologist. Earl was responsible for leveraging remote monitoring and management tools and coordinating timely responses to service issues. Earl also provided support to employees and clients by evaluating alerts and escalating them to the appropriate handler.
In 2018, Earl joined Spectrum Technologies, initially as the Network Operations Center Manager/Senior Systems Engineer. Earl oversaw a team of systems engineers and served as an escalation point for customer service and issue resolution. Earl'sresponsibilities included incident management, problem management, monitoring response, and reporting/metrics.
Currently, Earl holds the position of Director of Technical Operations for the IT Division at Spectrum Technologies. In this role, they are responsible for supervising multiple geographically dispersed NOCs and ensuring the smooth delivery of technical services to the company's customers. Earl also analyzes current operations and implements best practices to enhance processes.
Earl Colliander obtained a bachelor's in Information Technology from Capella University, which they attended from 2002 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Information Security at the same university from 2004 to 2006. In addition to their degrees, Earl also holds several certifications. In 2000, they obtained a CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA. In 2001, they obtained a CompTIA Network+ certification, also from CompTIA. Earl further enhanced their credentials by obtaining a CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in April 2004.
