Sophie Lu is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Sr. Director of Finance for Ad Sales FP&A at Charter Communications since September 2017. In this role, Sophie leads financial initiatives related to Advanced Advertising Product, Pricing and Planning, Business Operations, and Business Intelligence, with responsibilities encompassing budgeting, forecasting, analytics, and project ROI evaluations. Prior to this, Sophie held the position of Director of Corporate Finance and Analysis at NBCUniversal Media, LLC, where management of financial planning and forecasting for retirement benefits and various insurance portfolios was a primary focus. Sophie's career began at Sony Music Entertainment, where roles included Associate Director of Finance and Finance Manager, emphasizing budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for various artist projects. Sophie holds a Master's degree in Finance from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration specializing in Banking and International Finance from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
