Susan Filax

Susan Filax has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Susan started their career at Spectrum Health Care in 1998 as a Primary Visiting Nurse and later transitioned into the role of Program Manager in 2000. Susan worked in this capacity until 2004. In 2004, Susan became a Manager of Clinical Practice at Spectrum Health Care and held this position until 2013. Susan then served as the Director of Clinical Practice and Informatics at the same company.

Susan Filax completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from McMaster University between 1992 and 1996. In 2014, they obtained a Certificate in Clinical Leadership from York University. Susan also holds additional certifications as a Registered Nurse, obtained in 1996 from the College of Nurses of Ontario, and as a Surveyor from Accreditation Canada in 2021.
