Rick Burgess is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in platform engineering, data science, and technology management. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Ticketmaster, Rick leads teams focused on platform engineering, trust and safety, and data science across North America and Europe. Prior to this role, Rick was Senior Vice President of Platform Engineering at DAZN Group, where Rick built and led a 100-member team responsible for developing reliable platforms hosted on AWS. Rick also served as Chief Technical Officer at JCDecaux VIOOH, launching Dynamic and enhancing digital out of home campaigns, and was Technical Director at BBH London, overseeing all digital projects and fostering collaboration between developers and design teams. Additionally, Rick serves as an advisor at Spec.
