Anthony Schmidt

Anthony Schmidt currently serves as the General Manager of Process and Operations at Spectur, beginning in January 2024. Previously, Schmidt held the position of General Manager of Global Operations at sensen.ai from July 2021 to August 2023, where responsibilities included orchestrating the integration of Scancam Industries post-acquisition and implementing innovative technologies for operational efficiency. As co-founder, CEO, and Managing Director of Scancam Industries from September 2013 to July 2021, Schmidt led the creation and commercialization of the company, which focused on reducing losses from fuel theft for retailers. Additional experience includes roles at Mad Mex Fresh Mexican Grill as National Operations Manager, and as Business Development Manager at Oporto Franchising Pty Ltd. Schmidt began a career at McDonald's Corporation as a Restaurant Manager from 2000 to 2007. Schmidt holds a Bachelor of Management in International Business from Western Sydney University and a High School Certificate from the Conservatorium of Music in Sydney.
