Brennan Lake has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Social Impact at Spectus.ai, a business unit under Cuebiq Inc. Spectus.ai focuses on driving positive social impact through the ethical and responsible use of location-based data. Prior to this, Brennan served as the Vice President, Social Impact at Cuebiq, where they supported academic research and humanitarian initiatives related to human mobility through the Data for Good program. Brennan also worked as the Senior Director of Research Partnerships & Data for Good at Cuebiq.

Before joining Cuebiq, Brennan was the Co-Director at Technology Exchange Lab, Inc. (TEL) from 2013 to 2018. TEL is dedicated to bringing communities out of poverty by promoting innovative and sustainable solutions. As the Co-Director, Brennan helped connect NGOs and communities with appropriate technology solutions to maximize the impact of last-mile development.

From 2013 to 2017, Brennan worked at wobiz, a company that offers an easy-to-use platform for setting up professional online stores. During their time there, wobiz expanded its distribution across Latin America through corporate partnerships.

Before wobiz, Brennan was a part of Neositios, a company that provides website and online store building services for professionals and small businesses. Brennan served as the CBO and helped launch, promote, and grow businesses across various online channels.

In 2010, Brennan founded One World Language Consultants, a company that offered comprehensive Business English training for Argentine professionals in different sectors.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Researcher/American Liaison at Comité de Vivienda Altos de San Roque in 2008-2009.

Overall, Brennan Lake has experience in social impact, geospatial data and analytics, technology solutions, language consulting, and research.

Brennan Lake has a diverse education history. They received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Affairs from Occidental College. They also attended St. John's Prep, although it is unclear whether they obtained a degree from there. Additionally, Brennan pursued further education by earning a Master's degree from Queen's University and completing the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at both Cornell University and Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management. In terms of certifications, they obtained the "Design Kit: The Course for Human-Centered Design" certification from NovoEd in September 2016, and the "Driving Adoption of Innovation" certification from the same institution in October 2015. Most recently, in June 2022, Brennan acquired the "Blockchain Essentials" certification from Cornell Tech.
