Marco Funaro

Marco Funaro has a strong background in engineering and software development. Marco is currently the Executive Vice President of Engineering at Spectus.ai since February 2022. Previously, they worked at Cuebiq from 2016 to March 2022 in various roles including Head of Software Engineering, Software Development Manager, and Java Architect. Before that, they were a Java Architect at Beintoo from November 2015 to February 2016. Marco also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at GoCloud from September 2014 to October 2015 and as a Software Development Engineer at Amadeus from September 2012 to September 2014. Marco started their career at Politecnico di Milano, where they served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from January 2012 to August 2012 and as a Teaching Assistant from January 2009 to January 2012.

Marco Funaro completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Politecnico di Milano in 2005. Marco then pursued a Master's degree in the same field from the same institution, which was completed in 2008. Following this, Marco went on to obtain their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, which they completed in 2011.
