Damien McAlear has a diverse range of work experience. Damien currently works as an Unreal Engineer at Speech Graphics, a position they started in 2022. Prior to this, Damien held various roles at Fife Council. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Systems Developer, mainly using C#, TotalMobile, and SQL to develop the Council's mobile working and systems integration solutions. During this time, they also supported the data migration of legacy ERP and HR/Payroll systems data into Oracle Fusion (Cloud) by writing SQL reports and loading migrated data into the system. From 2015 to 2019, Damien worked as a Systems Officer (ICT), supporting Oracle E-Business suite and multiple legacy accounting and scheduling systems, creating and maintaining interfaces, and generating ad hoc reports using SQL. Damien also had previous roles as a Business Support Assistant and Clerical Assistant, where they followed the Procure To Pay process and processed invoices through the ERP system, respectively. Damien's work experience highlights their technical skills in Microsoft-based development environments, SQL, Oracle databases, and VBA macros.
Damien McAlear attended Abertay University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Games and Programming Skills.
