Hannah McAulay

Registrar at Speed Art Museum

Hannah McAulay has extensive experience in museum registration and collections management, currently serving as the Registrar at the Speed Art Museum since February 2016. Since March 2020, Hannah has successfully led the Registration department independently, overseeing fifteen exhibitions, including three museum-generated shows, while adapting processes to industry standards amid the challenges posed by the pandemic. Previous roles include Associate Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Curatorial and Registration Coordinator, and Registrar Assistant Intern at the Speed Art Museum, as well as Collections Management Intern at Locust Grove Historic Site and Buyer at Sentara Healthcare. Hannah holds a Master of Arts in Museology/Museum Studies from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Arts in Historic Preservation, American Studies, and Museum Studies from the University of Mary Washington.
