George Tournas

George Tournas has a diverse work experience in graphic and web design. George started their career as a Graphic Designer at GRAPH SHOW from 1999 to 2000. George then worked at COMPUTER INTERNATIONAL SA as a Seminar Instructor and Graphic Designer in 2001. From 2002 to 2002, they had a one-year contract as a Graphic Designer at the Ophthalmic Center ORASIS. In 2003, they joined EUROGNOSI as a Graphic Designer until 2005. George also had freelance work as a Graphic and Web Designer under their own name from 2003 onwards. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Graphic and Web Designer at DERAS S.A., specializing in promotional gifts and web design. Currently, they are working at Speedcast as a Front End - UI/UX Engineer and a Software Engineering Team Lead, starting in November 2016.

George Tournas has a history of education in web design and development, graphic design, and computer software engineering. From 2014 to 2016, they attended the National Technical University of Athens, focusing on web design and development. In 2016, they obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp. In 2000 to 2001, they attended AKTO Private Vocational Institute, studying graphic design. Prior to that, from 1997 to 1999, they attended the Private Vocational Institute "OMEGA", also studying graphic design. Additionally, George has a certification as a MOUS Expert from Microsoft.
