Mhairi Rennie

Mhairi Rennie has extensive experience working in finance and accounting roles. Mhairi most recently worked at Speedcast as the EMEA Team Lead / Finance Manager, where they were responsible for month-end review and submission, balance sheet reconciliations, annual statutory filings, and responding to auditors' queries. Mhairi also worked on accounting projects and additional finance requests. Prior to Speedcast, Mhairi worked as a Senior Accountant at Speedcast and as a Business Advisory Assistant Manager at Johnston Carmichael Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers. Mhairi also had short-term positions as a Reporting Accountant at EnQuest and as a Senior Reporting Accountant and Asset Accountant at BG Group. Earlier in their career, Mhairi worked at Accenture in various roles, including Statutory Accounts Process Lead, Joint Venture Accountant, Treasury Accountant, Accountant in the Project Team, Assistant Accountant, and Assistant Joint Venture Accountant.

Mhairi Rennie received their education from Fraserburgh Academy between 1991 and 1997. Mhairi then attended Robert Gordon University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance. Mhairi also obtained their ACMA certification from CIMA in January 2004. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained multiple certifications in various areas such as personal finance, goal achievement, job search strategies, and leadership through online platforms like LinkedIn.
