Alex Vlastakis

Alex Vlastakis is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the financial and technology sectors, currently serving as President of tZERO Digital Asset Securities since 2024, where the firm focuses on brokerage activities in digital asset securities. Vlastakis has been with tZERO Group, Inc. since 2014, holding the position of President of tZERO Broker Services, and overseeing innovative blockchain-based technologies. Additional leadership roles include President of SpeedRoute and tZERO Securities, LLC, both positioned within the financial technology landscape. Prior experience includes Senior Vice President at ConvergEx Group, where new business and client relationships were developed, as well as Vice President roles at BNY Brokerage and Sonic Technologies. Vlastakis began a career in finance as a Financial Advisor at UBS after earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance from St. John's University in 2000.
