B Scott Smith is an accomplished professional in the automotive retail and sports entertainment industry, currently serving as the Director at Sonic Automotive since July 2022. Smith has extensive experience as a Co-Owner at Sonic Financial and Speedway Motorsports since 1991 and 1995 respectively. Notably, Smith was a Co-Founder, CEO, and President of EchoPark Automotive from 1997 to 2019, and previously co-founded Sonic Automotive, holding roles as CEO and President until March 2019. Additionally, Smith has owned gGROhorticulture since October 2019 and is involved with Tattoo Projects and Genesys Global since September 2018. Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rollins College, completed between 1989 and 1991.
