Speira
Frank Thoenes has worked in various technical and engineering roles throughout their career. Frank started at A. Monforts Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH in 2007 as a Entwicklungskonstrukteur. Frank then moved to TMD Friction, where they worked as a Versuchsingenieur from 2007 to 2009, a Produktingenieur from 2009 to 2011, and an Anwendungsingenieur from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Hydro Aluminium Rolled Products GmbH as a Technical Customer Support and Product Development Engineer and worked there until 2021. Currently, Frank is the Head of Operational Quality Assurance at Speira since November 2022.
Frank Thoenes obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Maschinenbau and Konstruktionstechnik from FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences between 2002 and 2007. Prior to this, they also attended Berufskolleg Platz der Republik für Technik und Medien Mönchengladbach, where they acquired a Fachhochschulreife qualification.
