Liv Nilssen

Liv Nilssen has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Liv is currently working at Spektrix as a VP / Director of Sector Strategy since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the same company in various roles including Global Sector Strategy from August 2020 to June 2022, Sector Strategy Lead from November 2017 to August 2020, and Business Analyst, Fundraising from July 2017 to November 2017.

Before joining Spektrix, Liv Nilssen worked at Royal Court Theatre as an Interim Director of Development from November 2016 to July 2017, and as Deputy Director of Development from October 2015 to November 2016.

Liv Nilssen also has experience as a Principal at Liv Nilssen Consulting from November 2014 to November 2015, and as a Director of Development at Chanticleer from August 2011 to October 2014.

Their earlier work experience includes roles at American Conservatory Theater, where they served as Manager, Individual and Alumni Relations from November 2009 to December 2010, Individual Gifts Manager from June 2008 to December 2009, and Individual Gifts Coordinator from August 2006 to June 2008.

Liv Nilssen also worked at Yale Rep/Yale School of Drama as an Associate Managing Director in 2005, and as an Associate Director of Development in the same year. Liv was a Yale Management Fellow at Center Theatre Group from January 2005 to June 2005.

Other positions they held include Associate Managing Director at Yale Cabaret in 2004, and Director of Industrial Development at Greater Southwest Development Corporation from 1999 to 2001. Liv also worked as a Fellow at Southwest Development Corporation from August 1999 to August 2000.

Liv Nilssen received a BA degree in Sociology from the University of Chicago, where they attended from 1995 to 1999. Liv then pursued their MFA in Theater Management from Yale University, attending from 2004 to 2006.
