Christina York

Christina York has a wealth of experience in the field of user experience. Christina began their career in 2003 as a Library Information Professional at Windsor Regional Hospital. In 2005, they moved to ITHAKA where they worked as a User Experience Manager, supporting and directing a team of user experience designers, architects, and researchers. In 2008, they became a User Experience Consultant for CampStaff.com, where they were responsible for creating a user experience strategy and working with the software engineer and website developer to completely redesign the Campstaff.com website. In 2014, they co-founded and became the CEO of ALTality. In 2016, they became the CEO and Founder of SpellBound, as well as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Michigan.

Christina York's education history includes four degrees. Christina obtained a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Windsor between 1993 and 1997. Christina then went on to obtain a BA in English from the same school between 1997 and 1999. Following this, they obtained an MA in English Language and Literature from the University of Windsor between 1999 and 2001. Finally, they obtained an MLIS in Library and Information Science, Archives, and Information Structures from Wayne State University between 2002 and 2003.
