Rob Ackerman is an experienced construction professional with a strong background in preconstruction management and technical services. Currently serving as Preconstruction Manager and Technical Manager at Speller Metcalfe Living Limited since June 2014, Rob leads all pre-contract project aspects, overseeing estimating, risk management, and design coordination. Prior experience includes over 18 years as Head of Technical Services at Markey Construction, directing the preconstruction team and ensuring technical compliance. Earlier, Rob worked as a Senior Quantity Surveyor at John Baddeley CQS, managing multiple tenders and final accounts in the housing and leisure sectors. Rob holds a BSc in Quantity Surveying from Birmingham City University and a Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management, expected in January 2024.
