Will Wingard

Will Wingard has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Will is currently serving as the Director of Talent Acquisition at Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation since July 2022. Prior to this, they held the same position at Topcon Positioning Systems from June 2019 to June 2022.

Before transitioning to these roles, Will had an independent role as a Talent Acquisition Consultant at Where There's A Will There's A Way Talent Acquisition from 2017 to 2019. In 2018, they also worked as a Senior Technical Recruiter (contract) at Bio-Rad Laboratories.

In 2017, Will worked as a Senior Recruiter (contract) at Enjoy Technology, Inc., where they played a crucial role in scaling the company's recruiting capabilities and spearheading new market expansion activities.

Prior to this, Will took a career break in 2016 to focus on family. Will had an extensive role at Shell, starting as a Human Resources Representative in 2004 and gradually progressed to become the Military Recruitment Programs Leader, the Senior Regional Recruiter/Interim Operations & Crafts Recruitment Manager, and later the Regional Recruiter. During their tenure at Shell, they developed high-volume recruitment practices and successfully hired approximately 1,000 technical workers across the US and Canada.

Earlier in their career, Will served as a Consultant Team Lead at Illinois Business Consulting and as a Research Intern at the State of Illinois West European Office.

Will Wingard holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Will also pursued further education at the Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on International Business. Additionally, Will's educational background includes a Master of Human Resources & Industrial Relations (MHRIR) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign School of Labor and Employment Relations.
