Anjanette Levert

Anjanette Levert is a seasoned documentary filmmaker, producer, curator, programmer, coach, and professor with extensive experience in education and film production. Currently a Professor at Spelman College since August 2017, Levert co-created the documentary curriculum alongside notable filmmakers and teaches various aspects of documentary filmmaking. Additionally, Levert serves as the Associate Director for The Documentary Forum at City College of New York and has owned and operated Tall-Tale Productions and Trevela Film Marketing and Event Production since the early 2000s. Levert's professional background includes various roles in production, coordination, and event management across prominent media platforms and organizations, culminating in a diverse portfolio of independent films and numerous contributions to filmmaking initiatives within the industry. Levert holds an MFA in Media Art Studies from City College of New York and a BSJ in Journalism from Northwestern University.
