Myra Burnett

Myra Burnett has extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as the Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness at Spelman College since August 1985, where roles have included Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, emphasizing faculty development, student achievement, and staff development in a collaborative governance environment. Burnett also served as Vice Provost, overseeing faculty development, program review, and institutional effectiveness while liaising with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Additionally, Burnett was a member of the Association of Black Psychologists from 1982 to 2009 and holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Duke University, an M.A. in Psychology from Stanford University, and an AB in Psychology & Social Relations from Harvard University.
