Spelman College
Nadine (April) King currently serves as the Special Assistant to the Provost at Spelman College, where responsibilities include managing the annual operational budget, supervising staff, and planning events. As President of the Staff Council, Nadine advises senior administrators on staff issues and organizes morale-boosting events. Additional contributions include involvement in Spelman’s Task Force on Planning during the COVID-19 pandemic and co-founding Spelman Online Talk Tips focused on online pedagogy. Nadine is also the CEO and Founder of the National Association of Black Administrative Professionals and holds the certification of Google Certified Educator. Experience includes multiple speaking engagements and panels focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion in administrative roles, along with hosting events. Educational background consists of a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in English from Georgia State University and coursework in Communications/Theatre and Political Science at Clark Atlanta University.
