Elke T. currently serves as the Assistant Director of Communications at The Spence School since August 2024. With extensive experience in various leadership and operational roles, Elke has held multiple positions at Castilleja School, including Director of Operations and Communications Manager, where notable contributions included serving as the Self-Study Coordinator for the 2021-2022 Accreditation Report and leading the Health and Safety Committee. As the Strategic Storyteller and Photographer at Elke Teichmann Photography since 2005, Elke focuses on creative narratives through photography. Previous roles encompass digital marketing and PR positions at Sterling Communications and program leadership at GSVlabs for the ReBoot Career Accelerator for Women. Educational qualifications include a BA in Diplomacy and World Affairs from Occidental College and an MSc in Digital Media Production from Oxford Brookes University.
