Alan Menius

Alan Menius has a strong background in data analysis and healthcare. Alan started their career at GlaxoWellcome in 1991, where they worked as an Associate Director until 2000. Alan then joined Glaxosmithkline in 2001 as a Senior Director, leading the Medical Analytics Team. In this role, they utilized diverse data sources and advanced analytics to provide insights on the safety and effectiveness of medicines to patients and other stakeholders. Menius joined Spencer Health Solutions, Inc. in 2017 as Chief Data Scientist, and later became the Chief Scientific Officer in November 2018. Alan held these positions at Spencer Health Solutions until at least March 2021.

Alan Menius has a Master of Health Science (M.H.S.) degree in Biometry from Duke University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University. In February 2021, they also obtained a certification in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) from ProTrainings.
