Matthew Branum Cpa, Cgma

Matthew Branum, CPA, CGMA has a comprehensive work experience in the accounting field. Matthew is currently serving as the Director of Accounting at Spencer Hospital since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Accounting Controller at Northern Iowa Die Casting, Inc. from July 2020 to May 2023. Matthew also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Dethmers Manufacturing Co. from May 2014 to April 2020.

Earlier in their career, Branum served as the Director of Accounting at Ferrara Candy Company from September 2007 to June 2013. Matthew also worked as the Manager of Accounting Services at Cloud Peak Energy (formerly Rio Tinto Energy America) from July 1993 to September 2007. Branum started their career as a Senior Staff Accountant at Shuck, Marso, Bennett (formerly McGladrey & Pullen) from July 1988 to July 1993.

Matthew Branum, CPA, CGMA, completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from the University of South Dakota, graduating in 1988. Prior to that, they attended LeMars Community High School from 1982 to 1984. In terms of additional certifications, Matthew obtained the following:

1. American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) membership in July 2013.

2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Iowa from the Iowa Department of Commerce - Professional Licensing and Regulation in July 2013.

4. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Minnesota from the State of Minnesota Board of Accountancy in January 2013.
