Allison May

Allison May has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Allison is currently the Global Head of Legal at Spencer Ogden, where they are responsible for ensuring compliance with privacy regulations, creating contracts guidelines for sales personnel, and managing litigation. Prior to that, Allison worked at Schlumberger as a Senior Attorney, where they played a leadership role in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, promoted compliance with internal policies, and provided legal counsel on various matters. Allison also worked at Stuart PC and Muskat, Martinez, & Mahony, where they gained experience in labor and employment law. Allison began their career as a Briefing Attorney for the Texas 14th Court of Appeals, performing legal research across different areas of law.

Allison May attended Georgetown University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Foreign Studies and a Certificate (Minor) in Justice and Peace. In 1999, they also studied abroad at the Universidad de Costa Rica, taking a full load of classes with Costa Rican students in the Spanish language. Later, from 2007 to 2010, they pursued their Juris Doctor (J.D.) at the University of Houston Law Center. In November 2010, they became a member of the Texas Bar after obtaining their certification from the State Bar of Texas.
