Jason Baumgarten

Jason Baumgarten is the Head of Growth & Sustainability at Spencer Stuart. Jason was previously an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, where they were a leader in McKinsey's Technology Practice with a focus on emerging online and mobile platforms.

At McKinsey, Jason worked on a wide range of areas including product strategy under uncertainty, simulation based strategy, multi-channel customer service effectiveness, online and mobile marketing, IT productivity, and the organizational change that goes along with getting any of these things to stick.

From an industry perspective, Jason has served clients in multiple industries including gaming, online content and services, wireless, software, hardware, media, financial services, and private equity. In addition to their private sector experience, Jason spent several years advising the public sector on the potential for integrating best practices from the tech industry ranging from IT/development productivity to multi-channel customer service.

Jason Baumgarten attended Vassar College for their undergraduate degree, where they studied economics. Jason then went on to Stanford University Graduate School of Business to earn their MBA.
