Viquar Hussain

Viquar Hussain has over twenty-five years of work experience. Viquar began their career in 1991 as a Software Engineer at Nelco Ltd. Viquar then moved to Dharma Computer in 1993, where they worked on building relational and plug-able SQL Engines, as well as cost-based RDBMS Optimizers and Parsers. In 1994, they joined Objectivity as a Staff Engineer. Viquar then went to InPart in 1997 as a Senior Software Engineer. In 1998, they joined Borland as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead, where they worked on the CORBA Transaction Service and was part of OMG's Specification Committee and Sun Specification Committees. In 2001, they moved to Epiphany as a Staff Engineer and Engineering Manager. In 2007, they joined Blazent as a Senior Architect. In 2008, they moved to DemandTec as a Senior Engineering Manager for the UI Platform and Portal. Finally, in 2011, they joined Spendgo as the Vice President of Engineering. At Spendgo, they were responsible for providing omnichannel marketing tools to engage, retain and incentivize customers.

Viquar Hussain attended Bangalore University from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
