Al Brander

Al Brander is the current Chief Sales Officer at SpendMend. Prior to this, Al spent 11 years at TrackCore, Inc., where they held various positions including Vice President of National Sales and Marketing, and Director of Implementation, Training and Consulting. Before that, Al spent 9 years at Spectrum Health as the Chief Nursing Officer, Senior Director of Perioperative Services, and Director of Emergency and Trauma Services. Al has also spent time as a Travel RN, working in various hospitals throughout the US in positions such as Transplants, Trauma, Telemetry, Cardiac step down, post interventional cardiac cath, Ortho and Med Surg. Al's previous experience also includes working as a Staff Registered Nurse and Clinical Social Worker at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Al Brander earned their BSN from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1995 and their MBA/HCM from the University of Phoenix in 2002. Al also attended the Executive Leadership Institute at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 2003 to 2005. Al is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is certified by the Healthcare Accreditation Certification Board as a Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional. Al also holds certification from the American Heart Association in both Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
