Staffan Herbst

Staffan Herbst is the current Chief Financial Officer at SPENN, a position they have held since May of 2018. Prior to their current role, Herbst worked as Credit Analytics at Credit Suisse from May 2015 to May 2018. From March 2012 to October 2013, Herbst worked as Financial Risk Controller at Bank Vontobel AG where they were responsible for risk measurement and monitoring of the Investment Banking unit. Staffan also did macro- and market risk analysis, value at risk-, stress loss- and valuation modeling, and project management. In 2010, Herbst began working as an analyst at UBS where they worked for two years before being promoted to their current role. Prior to their work in the financial sector, Herbst served in the Swedish Armed Forces from 2003-2005 where they trained recruits in combat craft maneuvering and navigation.

They are on a team with Magne Fretheim - CTO, Bård Bjerkås - Chief Legal Officer, and Erik Seiving - COO. Their manager is Jens Glaso, CEO.
