Spero Academy is a  public K-6 elementary charter school with locations
in Northeast Minneapolis and Brooklyn Park. Spero Academy provides individualized educational programs to benefit students with disabilities that meet their unique needs through continuous progress and a responsive environment. We maintain a high standard of academic and personal excellence and cultivate a sense of respect, responsibility, and community.

In session 11 months out of the year and averaging a 1:4 educator/student ratio, Spero Academy’s mission is to provide individualized educational programs to benefit students with various disabilities.

The Special Education Team at Spero Academy Charter School is dedicated to designing and implementing individualized educational programs tailored to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities. They ensure compliance with due process requirements, oversee the delivery of specialized instruction, and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student growth academically, emotionally, and socially across both the Northeast Minneapolis and Brooklyn Park locations.
