Connie H. has a work history that spans several decades. Connie began their career in 1980 at Progressive Careers & Housing Inc., where they worked as an Accountant/Benefits Specialist for over 30 years until December 2010. In January 2011, they joined Spero Family Services as an Assistant Director of Accounting, and they are currently still employed there. In February 2018, Connie H. took on the role of Village Clerk at the Village of Dix, where they served until October 2021.
Connie H. attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where they studied Accounting and Business. Connie later pursued a degree in Accounting and Finance from the same institution, Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.

Welcome to Spero Family Services, formerly known as The United Methodist Children’s Home. As you can see, we have a new name, but our faith-based mission, vision and professional services will remain the same. Not only that, but we are expanding our services to reach even more people in need around this community and many others!
