John Raymond

John Raymond has extensive experience in financial planning and analysis. John currently holds the position of Senior Vice President at Spero Therapeutics, where they oversee financial planning and analysis. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice President and Head of Financial Planning and Analysis at the same company.

Before joining Spero Therapeutics, they worked as the Executive Director and Head of Financial Planning & Analysis at Axcella. John also served as the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis at ImmunoGen, Inc. during their career.

John Raymond's earlier experience includes leadership roles at Sanofi Genzyme, where they held positions such as Head of Portfolio Maximization and Analysis and Head of Renal Franchise and Established Products Business Operations. John received recognition and awards for their achievements in these roles.

Prior to Sanofi Genzyme, they worked at Altus Pharmaceuticals as an Operations and Project Controller, and at Cubist Pharmaceuticals as a Manager of Commercial Analytics and Finance Manager. John began their career as a Senior Financial Analyst at Abbott Laboratories / MediSense Products.

John Raymond completed their Executive and High Performance Leadership program at Cornell Executive Education in 2019. Prior to that, they earned an MBA in Finance from Bentley University. John also obtained a BSBA with a double major in Management and Finance, along with a minor in Economics, from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
